Electrical Engineering

The SN&N Electronics team has talented EEs specializing in the design of analog, digital, power, high voltage, wireless, motor control and embedded systems electronics. SN&N technicians have unique prototyping skills that allow EEs to test out circuit ideas rapidly before committing to printed circuit board design. Our in-house team of layout engineers have extensive experience designing complex mixed signal, high voltage, high current, rigid and flex circuit boards. These skills are at the core of the SN&N EE team, we insist on excellence at every step of the process to deliver complete designs in a timely manner. A sampling of our EE specializations include:

  • Ultralow noise analog design

  • DC to DC converters of all topologies

  • Power supply design

  • High voltage circuit design

Software and Firmware

The software group at SN&N has designed top-level software and embedded firmware for several medical devices (Class A, B and C), space applications for NASA and Stanford, controllers for high voltage generators and a broad spectrum of commercial devices. Our software group provides complete turnkey solutions to clients starting with embedded microcontrollers all the way to cloud connection and establishing an AWS database. We excel at rapid firmware and software prototyping, work closely with our hardware team to test out early concepts before delving into full-blown development. SN&N software engineers optimally architect products and design smart algorithms to ensure speed and reliability of data flow. FDA compliant methodology is at the core of the SN&N software development process. We will provide detailed software specifications, hazard analysis, design documents, test procedures, V&V documentation to get our clients through the FDA approval process. The group is adept at all aspects of software development including:
